From 3 to 7 November 2009, the first Madeira Gourmet Food Festival will be hosted by the Commercial and Industrial Association of Funchal - Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madeira (Associação Comercial e Industrial do Funchal - Câmara de Comércio e Indústria da Madeira), in partnership with the “World Gourmet Club”.
The Madeira Gourmet Food Festival will be dedicated to “Traditional Flavours” (“Sabores Regionais”). All hotels, restaurants and Gourmet shops can apply by presenting a tasting menu. The idea is to launch a renowned event which will attract public attention year after year, while at the same time promoting and giving value to the quality of the madeiran cuisine.
